More public consultation sessions on the province’s education system have been announced.
Education and Early Childhood Development Minister Dominic Cardy will make stops in four more communities: St. Stephen, Minto, Miramichi and Campbellton.
The St. Stephen session will take place at St. Stephen High School on Feb. 24 from 7 to 9 p.m. The Minto session is set for Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m. in the Minto council chambers.
The sessions are a chance for New Brunswickers to meet with Cardy and share their feedback on ideas presented in a recent green paper.
Cardy said the additional sessions are being held in partnership with DialogueNB due to the overwhelming interest from the public.
“It is essential that students, teachers and community members have the opportunity to share their experiences and knowledge as we work to build a world-class education system,” said Cardy in a statement.
Four sessions have already been held in Saint John, Moncton, Sackville and Edmundston.
