The Saint John Police Force is looking to re-connect people with their lost property or possessions.
Spokesperson Jim Hennessy says a lot of the time, lost items are never returned to their rightful owners, which is why the force is sharing photos of their lost and found collection with the public.
Hennessy says if you believe the force might have your lost item, get in touch with them.
“Unfortunately, in several circumstances, the property or possessions never get returned to its rightful owner and by sharing this information, we hope to rectify that,” said Hennessy in a release.
“There are a lot of people that turn in property that is found around the metro area hoping it is returned to its rightful owner and the SJPF is looking to do the same,”
Hennessy says if you believe the force might have your lost item, you can get in touch their property management office by calling 506-648-3235 or by emailing police@saintjohn.ca with the subject line “Lost and Found.”
