The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating a suspicious fire in Moncton, N.B., and is asking the public’s help to identify the person responsible.
On Tuesday afternoon, police and local firefighters responded to a report of a fire at the House Of Nazareth.
The Clark Street homeless shelter was unoccupied and sustained significant damage.
Surveillance photos show an individual starting a fire inside the building.
The suspect is described as being between five foot nine inches and six feet tall and having a skinny build. He was wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket, grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, boots and was carrying a black duffel bag and a backpack.

The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the New Brunswick Fire Marshal’s Office.
