Two people in their 20s made a brief court appearance Tuesday in connection with Monday’s police chase in Saint john.
24-year-old Laura Stanley Smith and 27-year-old Paul Kellock are both charged with being unlawfully at large.
Kellock also faces several other charges, including dangerous driving and failing to stop for police.
Both are scheduled to enter pleas in Saint John Provincial Court on March 31st.
Saint John police said they were involved in a short pursuit on Highway 1 eastbound early Monday afternoon.
Police said the vehicle was found in the area of Elliot Road in Quispamsis and five people were arrested.
