New Brunswick and Nova Scotia entrepreneurs looking to take their business to the next level and get some national exposure may have their chance.
CBC’s Dragons’ Den will be hosting auditions across Canada throughout March and they’ll be making their only New Brunswick stop in Saint John March 12. They will be holding auditions in Halifax on March 14.
The popular show gives aspiring entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their businesses to a panel of wealthy Canadian business moguls – “the Dragons.” Successful pitchers will have a chance to earn real investment – from the Dragons’ own pockets. The “Dragons” are Arlene Dickinson; Jim Treliving; Lane Merrifield; Manjit Minhas; Vincenzo Guzzo and Michele Romanow.
Several New Brunswick startups have pitched the dragons over the last several years with varying degrees of success. They include Tuxy, Millennia Tea, Jeff Alpaugh Custom, Sussex Beard Oil Merchants, and SimpTek.
