More Canadians are choosing vacations in their own country.
Statistics Canada says more than 91-million trips were made within the country last summer, a small increase over 2018.
More than half were for vacation reasons and Ontario was the preferred destination.
At the same time, the number of Canadians heading for vacations in the United States was down by nearly six per cent.
Travel overseas was up nearly nine per cent.
