The City of Saint John is looking for experienced vendors for two summer locations.
In a release, the city says there is a possibility of a semi-permanent beer garden in Loyalist plaza.
Included in the area is the potential for bike rental operators, food and beverage operators, temporary public art, and other merchants.
“Locals and visitors are looking for a dynamic street experience within the uptown,” said Saint John Night Market manager Andrew MacDonald. “We are excited to see these public spaces re-imagined.”
An open-air market may also be opened within the Water Street corridor to support local uptown events such as Area 506 and the Moonlight Bazaar.
According to the release, the city is working with EXP Architects on the preliminary plans for this market.
Vendors are asked to submit their proposals before March 19.
Proposals can be submitted through the city of Saint John website on the tenders and proposals section.
