Roughly $100,000 worth of cannabis has been found by police after two New Brunswick men were stopped near Atikokan in Northern Ontario.
The 41-year-old from Fredericton and 52-year-old from Woodstock were arrested Sunday afternoon during a traffic stop on Highway 11.
Police say they found more than 22 kilograms, or about 50 pounds of cannabis, and thousands of dollars in Canadian currency and several thousand Euros in the vehicle.
The men are due before a judge on Thursday, March 12th, 2020 in Fort Frances, Ontario.
