A reminder is coming this week that winter is not over.
In a special weather statement issued on Wednesday, Environment Canada said an intense disturbance will impact the entire province on Friday.
The snow will start on Friday morning and move across the entire province before changing to freezing precipitation and later to rain in the south.
Up to 30 centimetres could fall in northern New Brunswick with ten centimetres in central areas and five centimetres or less over southern areas.
Southern areas could get 15 to 25 millimetres of rain with more expected along the Fundy coast.
Strong winds are expected in coastal areas with conditions improving between Friday night and Saturday.
