Officials in Saint John say they will be ready to meet any challenges when it comes to the COVID-19 virus.
The city said Wednesday it is following the advice of provincial health officials to ensure services will continue if there is an outbreak.
“At this time, all city operations are normal. Information from the Government of New Brunswick is being shared with city employees and posted in all public facilities,” said the city in a statement.
If there is a local outbreak, the city said it will rely on the province’s pandemic planning guide for best planning practices and to facilitate any coordination between regional EMOs and health officials.
“From a municipal perspective, we are planning for the various possibilities and will be ready to meet challenges that may lie ahead,” the city said.
