Police in Fredericton have identified the victim in the city’s second homicide of the year.
Justin Leigh Finnemore, 29, of Fredericton died in hospital at 4:30 a.m. Saturday after being shot.
Finnemore was dropped off at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital and the vehicle was located by police a short time later.
Several people taken into custody at the time were later released.

Police do not believe that this was a random shooting, but at this time, they have no information this incident is connected with the homicide in Wilmot Park on April 15.
Charges have not been laid in this matter.
