City police are investigating damage to two community mailboxes last week.
On May 27, officers were called to an area of east Saint John near St. Martins and Clover Valley Roads to find community mailboxes forced open.
A release from Saint John Police said mail was missing and the damage to the mailbox was “extensive”.
Two days later, police received reports of another damaged mailbox along Dark Lake and Sandy Point Roads in the north end.
At that scene, several individual boxes had contents missing.
Citizens are asked to keep an eye out for any suspicious activity and to contact the police department with any information.
The Saint John Police Force is investigating these incidents in association with Canada Post. Residents with information are asked to reach out to the police force at (506)-648-3333.
