The University of New Brunswick has unveiled details of what its fall term will look like due to the pandemic.
In a letter to students Monday, the university said undergraduate programs will be delivered through blended learning.
On the Saint John and Fredericton campuses, that will mean a combination of alternative delivery models and in-person classes where possible.
Graduate programs on both campuses will be delivered through in-person instruction, with alternative delivery methods available.
“While we continue to be grounded by our strength as one university with two campuses, the university experience will differ slightly for our various programs and campus communities,” said the university in its letter.
“UNB campuses differ in size, age and infrastructure. These differences dictate unique responses to public health requirements, ensuring physical distancing and capacity within our spaces.”
Libraries will be open on both campuses to support learning but with limited capacity to meet Public Health guidelines.
Residences and food services will also be available with strict physical distancing.
“The university experience this fall is going to be different from what we all expected. Even though we may not be physically together, we remain united as one UNB community,” said the university.
More details are expected to be released later in June.
