After a cool spring in New Brunswick, what kind of weather can we expect this summer?
The Weather Network has unveiled its forecast for June, July and August.
Meteorologist Doug Gilham expects it will a decent season overall.
“Temperatures, especially in the first half of June, could run on the cool side of normal. But as we get into the heart of summer, we expect a warm summer with temperatures near or even warmer than normal,” he says.
Gilham says the season is looking dry overall but he adds it’s hard to predict precipitation in the summer.
He says a thunderstorm can produce a downpour for one community and miss a neighbouring community altogether.
