Peel Plaza will be reopening to the public today.
According to a release from Saint John police, anyone entering or leaving the building must wash their hands at the hand-washing station near the front doors.
There will only be three people allowed in the lobby at one time with seats for two. There are also markings on the lobby floor to help with which directions are allowed.
“Staff at the front desk are well versed on the new protocols and are here to assist and help the public as always,” said Chief Drolet.
“I want to thank everyone for their patience as we made changes to our normal operating standard and thank everyone for adhering to the new protocols to ensure your safety and the safety of our staff.”
Peel Plaza was closed to the public in March in accordance with New Brunswick Health and Safety.
