A 28-year-old man has been charged after police say he tried to interact with a child in Rothesay and followed her home.
Kennebecasis Regional Police Force responded just after 4 p.m. on Tuesday for a call of a suspicious person in the Scribner Crescent area.
They say a man dressed only in underwear was riding a bicycle while hanging around an apartment building and playground and behaving strangely.
Police learned the man attempted to interact with a nine-year-old girl and followed her into her home when she ran away from him.
The man was subsequently chased from the home and detained by the child’s father until police arrived.
