Saint John police arrested two men after a shooting on the city’s lower west side Wednesday evening.
No injuries were reported after officers responded to shots fired just after 5 p.m. The arrests were made just before 6:30 p.m.
Both men remain in custody and will face weapons-related charges in court next week.
As a result of the incident, police found evidence in an uptown home after executing a “high-risk warrant” on Thursday.
Members of the emergency tactical team, major crime, street crime, and patrol services were part of that investigation.
