A Saint John coffee company is the lucky recipient of a $10,000 grant.
Rogue Coffee Company is receiving the money from the Canadian Business Resilience Network, which is offering grants to 62 companies to help support recovery efforts.
Winners of the grant were chosen based on how they demonstrated their financial strain, how the grant will be used, what type of change will allow the business to continue and how this would support the community.
“When we learned that we are recipients of the grant it was unbelievable! We literally had to pinch each other to make sure it was real. At a time when all of our worlds are upside down and inside out we are so grateful to have allies in the fight,” said owners Vanessa and Mike Duncan.
“Thank you to the Saint John Region Chamber, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, and to Salesforce for having the backs of small business. It means everything.”
The Rogue Coffee Company was opened over three years ago by Vanessa and Mike Duncan.
