In the wake of long lineups at provincial borders since the Atlantic travel bubble opened last week, New Brunswick has unveiled a new registration system.
The province says all travellers who enter by road, air or sea must fill out an online registration form or do so by phone toll free 1-833-948-2800 (Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Atlantic time).
It’s recommended you register at least five days before arriving at the border.
The registration number must be printed off and shown at the border along with your identification.
The process can be completed when you get to the border but you may face delays.
Restrictions including a 14-day quarantine still apply to residents from outside the Atlantic Provinces.
