Numbers from the federal government show the impact of the closed border is having on travel between Canada and the U.S.
Statistics Canada said the number of U.S. vehicles crossing into Canada in June is down 94 per cent over the same month last year.
Just 64,000 U.S. citizens were permitted to enter Canada compared to the 1.6 million last June.
Canadian travel from the U.S. by vehicle is also down 94 per cent.
