Health officials in New Brunswick reported one new case of COVID-19 on Sunday, bringing the province’s total number of active cases up to four.
The new case is an individual between 50 and 59 in Zone 3 (Fredericton region) and is a close contact of a recently confirmed travel case and is self-isolating.
A second active case remains in the Fredericton region along with two in the Moncton area.
So far, 48,808 tests have been conducted.
There are two active cases of the virus in Nova Scotia and seven in Prince Edward Island.
Newfoundland and Labrador currently has no active cases.
