The city will open up portions of Prince William Street and Princess Street to pedestrians for its Open Streets initiative today.
This is the third installment of the Open Streets project, which previously saw both Canterbury and Germain streets closed to vehicle traffic.
Open Streets will run between noon and 8 p.m. Saturday, Prince William Street between Duke Street and Grannan Lane will be closed, while Princess Street will close between Water Street and Canterbury Street.
A release from the city indicated the first two installments of the event have been successful.
“Explore your favourite spots, grab an ice cream, dine in the open air, shop, take in an activity hub, or simply relax in a pop-up ‘chill zone,'” the statement read.
