A community that lost its sports centre to fire late last year is in the running to become the next Kraft Hockeyille.
Tyne Valley, Prince Edward Island, was recognized as a finalist on Monday.
Premier Dennis King says this is cause for celebration after what the community has been through in recent months.
Voting will be done on Aug. 14 and 15. The community with the most votes will win an NHL game, $250,000, and will become the Kraft Hockeyville for 2020.
There are three other communities in the running: Pense, Sask., Twillingate, N.L., and Saint-Felicien, Que.
Visit the Kraft Hockeyville site to find out how to vote. The winner will be announced on Aug. 15.
