The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning the public not to consume various brands of fresh peaches.
California-based Prima Wawona has recalled the peaches for possible Salmonella contamination.
The CFIA says various importers in Canada are conducting a recall of the affected products.
Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the store where they were purchased.
CFIA says retailers, distributors, manufacturers, and food service establishments not to serve, use, or sell the peaches.
