Warmer than average but lots of precipitation.
The Old Farmer’s Almanac has released its predictions for next winter.
They’re calling for below-normal winter temperatures through most of the country – except Atlantic Canada and the Prairies who should expect above-normal temperatures.
The Almanac says precipitation will be above normal across the country, with lots of rain, snow and sleet for the east coast.
They caution that Canadians from Alberta to Quebec should brace for a “Snow Train” that will be carrying a series of winter storms all season long.
