‘Suspicious’ Fire In Old North End

An early morning fire in Saint John’s old north end has been deemed suspicious by fire investigators.

Platoon Chief Steve Voutour said fire crews were called to 123 Main Street at around 12:04 a.m. Friday.

Voutour said the building was vacant and did not have power hooked up to it.

Damage to the building was minor and crews were on scene for about an hour, he said.
