Multiple emergency response teams are searching the water near the Belleisle Bay Ferry after a truck went into the water early Sunday.
Police say it’s believed there were two people inside the vehicle, and they remain missing.
Cpl. Jullie Rogers-March, media relations for the New Brunswick RCMP, said the truck went into the water shortly before 1:50 a.m. Sunday.
The RCMP Underwater Recovery Team, Hampton Fire, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and the Canadian Coast Guard are currently searching the area.
Ferry operations have been suspended as the search continues.
