Non-essential travel between Canada and the United States will continue to be restricted.
Public Safety Minister Bill Blair announced today that the border closure will remain in place until at least October 21st.
Restrictions were put into place in mid March due to COVID-19.
We are extending non-essential travel restrictions with the United States until October 21st, 2020. We will continue to base our decisions on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe.
