Federal Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole has tested positive for COVID-19.
O’Toole joins Bloc Quebecois Leader Yves Blanchet as the second party head to test positive this week.
Both leaders will now miss next week’s Throne Speech from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
The parties say their leaders are feeling well and self-isolating.
O’Toole’s wife and children tested negative for the virus. The family was tested on Thursday in Gatineau, after attempting to get tested on Wednesday.
The party didn’t disclose how O’Toole was exposed to the virus.
