The City of Saint John has issued its annual reminder that hunting is not permitted in Rockwood Park.
Signs and discs in the park warn hunters away from the boundaries of the no-hunting zone.
The no-hunting zone includes the area near Ashburn Lake, bound by Sandy Point Road and Foster Thurston Drive.
The City’s Nuisance Deer Management program is only permitted on private land approved by the provincial department of Energy and Resource Development.
For more information, contact the City of Saint John Parks and Recreation Department at (506) 658-2908.
