A boil water order has been issued for sections of Millidgeville and the north end.
Following some infrastructure work in the area, the Department of Health advised Saint John Water a boil water order was needed.
It impacts residents of Windsor Manor, Stratford Manor, Somerset Park, and those at the civic addresses 307 to 473 Millidge Avenue.
Water should be boiled for at least one minute before it’s consumed.
Tap water should be boiled for drinking, brushing teeth, making ice, juice, coffee or tea or washing vegetables that will not be cooked. Boiling the water kills bacteria and other organisms in the water.
Saint John Water will inform residents when it’s safe to use the water again.
