Blood donors are wanted ahead of the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Canadian Blood Services encourages Saint Johners to a book appointments this weekend or for a clinic coming up on Friday.
Donations often slip on long weekends with travel plans and other activities making it challenging for people to find time to give blood.
In order to comply with the Public Health Agency of Canada’s direction to ensure physical distancing, Canadian Blood Services can only welcome people with appointments.
A clinic will be held at the Saint John Donor Centre at 405 University Avenue on Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
