Halloween is going to look a lot different in the province of New Brunswick this year.
The provincial government released its COVID-19 guidelines yesterday, as we prepare to celebrate the spooky holiday in a pandemic.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Jennifer Russell says, “As of right now, we do have guidance on Halloween in each phase. If a zone is in the orange phase then they would not be trick or treating, but there would be other ways of celebrating Halloween.
Communities in the orange phase are permitted to take part in other activities with a maximum of ten people, but there must be social distancing.
In the yellow level, informal indoor and outdoor celebrations are permitted with a maximum of 50 people, but organizers are advised to keep a list of participants. Door-to-door trick-or-treating is permitted if Public Health Advice is followed.
