Police in Fredericton are seeking surveillance footage as they continue to investigate the disappearance of a well-known writer.
Richard Vaughan, who writes under the name RM Vaughan, was last seen in the provincial capital on Oct. 12.
Investigators have said they do not believe the 55-year-old has been a victim of foul play, but they are concerned for his well-being.
Police say they continue to follow up on “any and all tips” form the public and ask anyone with information to come forward.
“Even the smallest tip may prove to be helpful,” said the Fredericton Police Force in a news release Monday.
Investigators are looking for doorbell or video surveillance from parts of the downtown which was taken between 7 and 10 p.m. on Oct. 12.
That includes the area of the 200 to 700 blocks of Aberdeen Street, 300 block of Regent Street, 300 block of Carleton Street and 300 block of York Street.
Vaughan is described as 5’10” tall with short, grey hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a black and red plaid jacket.
