There is a second confirmed case of COVID-19 at Dalhousie Regional High School in northern New Brunswick.
Mark Donovan, superintendent of the Anglophone North School District, sent a note to parents and guardians Tuesday night.
Donovan said the new case has no connection to a previously-identified case at the school.
“We are working with Public Health officials to identify any students and school personnel who may have been in contact with the case,” wrote Donovan.
Grades 9 to 12 students will be learning virtually Wednesday as contact tracing is completed.
Grades 6 to 8 students will continue to learn virtually until Friday as previously announced.
Public Health did not announce any new cases of COVID-19 in the province on Tuesday.
