A much more civil debate between the two candidates running to be the next President of the United States.
President Trump and Democrat Joe Biden went at each other last night on a number of issues, firing back and forth with accusations, each one repeating what the other said was not true.
Trump again pointed out it was China’s fault for the COVID-19 pandemic, while Biden chastised the president’s handling of it.
As for the environment, the president said staying with the Paris Accord would cost the country trillions of dollars, Biden repeated his opposition to fracking.
At one point, Trump pointed out the reason he ran for President is because of Barack Obama and Joe Biden’s government. Trump went after Biden’s record, pointing out the vice president has done nothing after eight years in office, Biden countered with the work needed to repair the last four years.
On immigration, Biden accused Trump of allowing over 500 children who crossed the Mexican border be without their parents, to which Trump fired back the Obama/Biden administration built cages that housed children.
Citing what he’s done for black people, the president said he’s the least racist person, Biden repeated his record of race relations.
Trump again going after what he called the radical left, pointing out violence in democrat run cities, while Biden said he would be president over the whole country, not blue or red.
Biden hit Trump for not releasing his tax returns, to which Trump said he’s prepaid millions in taxes, Trump also hitting Biden’s family with accusations of shady business dealings with foreign countries.
