Three Saint John Sea Dogs players have been named to NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary Players to Watch list.
Peter Reynolds and Joshua Roy received B Ratings, indicating second- and third-round candidates.
Roy leads the team with four goals and six points this season. Reynolds has two goals and two assists in his first QMJHL season.
Cam MacDonald received a C Rating, indicating a fourth-, fifth- or sixth-round candidate.
Also entering his first season with the QMJHL, MacDonald has one point in five games to start the season.
A total of 31 QMJHL players are on the list, including three who received A Ratings, indicating first-round candidates.
They are Rimouski’s Zachary Bolduc, Xavier Bourgault of Shawinigan, and Zachary L’Heureux of Halifax.
