A 71-year-old Shippagan woman has been killed in a crash between a pickup truck and a car in Losier Settlement.
Just before 8 p.m on Tuesday, emergency crews responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at Route 150 and Chemin Georges.
Police believe the crash occurred when a car travelling eastbound on Chemin Georges failed to come to a complete stop at the intersection and collided with a pickup truck travelling southbound on Route 150.
The driver and only person in the car died at the scene from her injuries while the driver of the pickup truck was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Police are looking into the cause of the collision.
