The Saint John Police Force says one person has been taken to the hospital after being stabbed on the city’s east side Friday afternoon.
A release from the force said there is no threat to the public.
The stabbing occurred just before 3:30 p.m. and there is no word yet on the extent of the injury.
No specifics have been released on the location, or whether there have been any arrests made.
The city’s Major Crime Unit is handling the investigation.
