As states continue to count ballots south of the border, President-elect Joe Biden’s lead continues to grow.
The former vice-president now leads President Donald Trump by over 47,000 votes in Pennsylvania, over 14,000 in Georgia and almost 13,000 votes in Arizona.
When it comes to the popular vote, the president-elect has widened the gap to over 5,000,000 ballots.
The Trump campaign has filed lawsuits and called for recounts in multiple states, though it’s unlikely to have any impact if they do happen.
Election experts point back to the 2016 Presidential Election, where a recount in Wisconsin only resulted in the final result changing by 131 votes.
