A visitor to the hockey rink at Rothesay Netherwood School has been confirmed to have COVID-19, according to the region’s medical officer of health.
The school issued a release to its community saying a parent of a hockey player in the Gusto Program was in the Dr. C. H. Bonnycastle Memorial Arena twice this week.
The patient is said to have been in the arena Sunday, November 8 between 2:30 p.m.-5:00 p.m. and Wednesday, November 11 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
According to the release, provincial medical officers do not believe there is a high risk to other users of the arena.
Rothesay Netherwood School says it undertook strict cleaning measures and the arena is able to resume operation.
