Public Health says three new cases of COVID-19 were discovered in New Brunswick Sunday.
The new cases were spread out between the Fredericton, Moncton, and Saint John regions.
One of the new cases is travel-related, while the source of the other two remains under investigation.
A release issued from the province Sunday did not indicate which cases are under investigation.
Two patients are hospitalized in the province with COVID-19, and one is in the intensive care unit.
At a time when daily case numbers are spiking in each province west of the Atlantic travel bubble, New Brunswick’s new cases bring the number of active cases in the province up to 22.
The Fredericton and Moncton regions are home to seven active cases each, while the Saint John area has four. There are still two cases in the Campbellton zone, and one in both the Miramichi and Bathurst regions.
