A Saint John dinner theatre group is warning about a potential public exposure to COVID-19.
In a Facebook post on Friday, the Water Street Dinner Theater said it first learned about the potential exposure Thursday.
“We were made aware that a guest who had attended our production on Friday, Nov 13th, recently tested positive for COVID-19,” said the post.
The group has discontinued operations for 14 days at the direction of Public Health and is working to contact all guests in attendance that evening.
Performances scheduled for Nov. 20, 21 and 27 have been cancelled. They hope to resume operations Nov. 28.
“Guests currently holding tickets to any of the cancelled performances are being contacted directly and will receive a full refund through the event bright ticketing services,” said the Facebook post.
The Water Street Dinner Theater has been performing at the Rockland Wedding & Events Venue since Oct. 3, according to its website.
The news comes a day after potential public exposures were announced at several bars and restaurants throughout the city.
