The Saint John Sea Dogs provided an update on a positive case involving a staff member.
The staff member is sick and in isolation, the players are also in confinement along with most of the team staff.
Testing continues with no new positive cases reported with the Sea Dogs organization.
The case is not travel-related and the staff member involved has not been outside the Atlantic Bubble since before training camp began.
Several symptoms came on suddenly last weekend and the person was tested the same day.

The staff member experienced a sudden onset of multiple symptoms following this past weekend and received a covid test the same day.
The infected staff member has been vigilant and in isolation since that date.
A news release from the team says the staff member has not visited any of the following businesses which listed public exposures including Five and Dime, Freddie’s Pizza, Eighty-Three Bar Arcade and the Water Street Dinner Theatre.
