New Brunswick Public Health has issued an advisory for those coming to the province from the Halifax area.
It comes after health officials in Nova Scotia confirmed community spread of COVID-19 in Halifax this past week.
Public Health says those individuals should self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days once they arrive in New Brunswick.
“If you have symptoms of COVID-19, please self-isolate immediately and get tested for the virus,” said a statement released Saturday.
Anyone travelling in and out of the Saint John and Moncton health zones, which are currently under the orange level, are also asked to self-monitor for symptoms.
