New Brunswick Public Health reported six new cases of COVID-19 in the province on Sunday.
Five of the cases are in the Saint John health region (Zone 2) and involve three people 19 and under and two people in their 20s.
There is also a new case in the Fredericton health region (Zone 3) involving someone in their 30s.
It comes a day after New Brunswick set a daily record for new COVID-19 cases with 23 on Saturday.
“As a province, we need a renewed commitment to slowing the spread of COVID-19. And we need it now,” said Dr. Jennifer Russell, chief medical officer of health, in a news release.
“We need everyone in all corners of the province to reduce their close contacts to the lowest number possible and to follow public health measures.”
There are now 77 active cases throughout New Brunswick but no one is in the hospital.
Zones 1 (the Moncton health region) and 2 remain under the orange level of pandemic recovery while the rest of New Brunswick is under the yellow level.

Outbreak At Saint John Nursing Home
An outbreak was declared Friday at Shannex Tucker Hall, part of the Shannex Parkland Saint John campus, after a case was confirmed Thursday among a staff member.
Three more cases were announced Saturday among residents, according to Shannex, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to four.
Public Health said all tests have been processed and there are no new cases at this time.
Anyone who visited the Parkland Shannex campus between Nov. 15 and Nov. 20 is asked to self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms.
Exposures In Several Saint John-Area Schools
The Department of Education confirmed Saturday that there had been a positive case of COVID-19 at Simonds High School in Saint John and at Hampton Middle School.
The department later confirmed a possible exposure to COVID-19 at Harbour View High School in Saint John.
Public Health said Sunday that no student-to-student transmission has been determined in any schools to date.
“If you or a family member has been in close contact with the case, you will be notified by Public Health for contact tracing,” said Public Health in a news release. “If you do not hear directly from Public Health, you have not been identified as a close contact.”
More Potential Exposures In Uptown Saint John
Public Health also revealed more potential public exposures to COVID-19 in Saint John on Sunday.
Officials said the exposures at four businesses would have occurred on Saturday, Nov. 14
They include Eighty Three Bar Arcade between midnight and 2 a.m.; O’Leary’s Pub between midnight and 2 a.m.; Callie’s Pub between midnight and 2 a.m.; and Let’s Hummus between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m.
Anyone who was at one of the locations is asked to self-monitor for symptoms for 14 days and avoid visiting setting with vulnerable populations over the next two weeks.
