Assistant Director Melanie Martin says the public can help share messages of hope and festive spirit, “If we can send or share the joy of Christmas and the holidays to the resident so they know we are there. It has been a difficult year, but there are better times ahead and we look forward to 2021. We are hoping to move forward.”
Martin says these messages of holiday cheer can thank staff, and let residents know that we are thinking about them.
“A video that you would like to share, a message via email or a letter. It could be a drawing, Christmas cards. We will share the information with each individual home,” Martin says.
They will be dividing the messages up and presenting them to the 69 licensed nursing homes in the province.
The deadline to submit your messages is December 14th.
