PEI will not be re-entering the Atlantic Bubble next week.
Premier Dennis King announced during PEI Legislature today the province is extending their leave from the bubble until at least Dec. 21st.
King originally announced their withdrawal from the bubble on Nov. 23rd, citing rising COVID-19 cases in both New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
That decision was set to expire on Monday, Dec. 7th at Midnight.
The extension to Dec. 21st means current border restrictions in PEI will remain, including the required 14-day isolation of anyone entering the province for non-essential purposes.
