Eight new cases of COVID-19 were reported in New Brunswick Friday.
Two of the new cases were discovered in the Saint John health zone, one case each in the Fredericton and Moncton regions, and four cases were discovered in the Edmundston area.
Each of the new cases are under investigation and self-isolating.
Three of the cases found in the Edmundston area were individuals aged 19 or under.
The Moncton, Saint John, and Fredericton health zones all remain in the orange phase of COVID-19 recovery, while the rest of the province is still in the yellow phase.
There are now 111 active cases province-wide, with no patients in the hospital due to the virus.
