An unplanned power outage has led to a school closure in St. Martins as more than 1,500 homes and businesses in the region are without power.
Some of the other communities impacted by the outage include Bains Corner, Fairfield, Gardner Creek, Willow Grove and Saint John.
NB Power estimates the lights will be back on between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.
